About This Blog

I can't help but find myself filled with joy and excitement as I head into this Fall semester. For so many years, it seems, I've taken classes that haven't really prepared me for my future life as an adult, or my career. I know that it is imperative to take the journey that I have to achieve such high academic status, but man, was it a long road. I've finally reached the point in my school days where I get to start learning, both off book and hands on, all things related to my major. Finally, learning is becoming an enjoyable experience.

This blog post is one of my first assignments of the semester. I didn't want my blog to look bland, so after weighing my options, I chose the sunset city backdrop theme. I feel as though it adds a nice, calming aesthetic to my blog. At first, I was going to add a backdrop of my favorite sports teams arena. However, that dream was quickly shut down by my girlfriend. "Too childish" she says. I, on the other hand, thought it would be perfect for a future broadcaster/coach. The city will do for now, unless I have a change of heart. As a broadcaster/coach, I will most likely land in some big city anyway. Could be symbolic of what my future has in store for me. I hope so, at least.
